Amanda is one of the founders and Directors of A2Z food safety that was established in 2014. 

Amanda is a Chartered Environmental Health Practitioner and has worked in food safety since qualifying from University Wales Institute of Cardiff in 2001 with a BSc in Environmental Health in 2001.  From qualifying, Amanda has always been passionate about food safety has worked in both the public and private sectors in food safety giving her vast experience in helping food businesses achieve their goals and ensuring they are compliant with food safety legislation.  Amanda has a solid reputation and proven history for providing advice services to market leading catering establishments and manufacturers.

Amanda has undertaken numerous food safety  courses keeping her up to date with current law and guidance ensuring that she is always providing first class advice.   

Amanda is passionate about A2Z food safety and believes that food safety has an important part to play in ensuring that a food business is successful as it builds a good reputation and also protects its customers.


Faye is a Chartered Environmental Health Practitioner and co founder of A2Z food safety limited. Since graduating from the University of Wales Institute in 2001, Faye and the A2Z food safety team have delivered projects in a wide range of sectors from catering to manufacturing, throughout the UK. 

Faye is passionate about helping businesses to understand and implement the requirements of food safety and food standards guidance and legislation. Faye believes good food hygiene practices are a key part to ensuring that the business is successful. It is her aim to take away the headache out of compliance.

Marc has worked with A2Z food safety since September 2018. 

Marc is an Environmental Health Practitioner and has worked in food safety since qualifying from University Wales Institute of Cardiff in 2004 with a BSc in Environmental Health degree. 

Since qualifying Marc has worked as a Local Authority Environmental Health Officer, where he gained a vast amount of experience in developing his knowledge of food safety, food standards, health and safety and infectious disease. Marc was responsible for carrying out food safety audits, and implementing all forms of food hygiene and health and safety legislation, and helping businesses to achieve compliance, and ensuring businesses were informed of all necessary changes in legislation.   

Marc is passionate about food safety and health and safety, and has undertaken many courses to ensure his knowledge is kept up-to-date, so that customers can use this information to help support their businesses. 

Since leaving local authority Marc has become a valued member of the A2Z food safety team, and has transferred his knowledge and experience to A2Z food safety to ensure that customers are getting the best advice. 


Amy graduated from Cardiff Metropolitan University with a 2:1 in BSC Environmental Health in 2020.  Prior to joining a2z food safety Amy worked at South Oxfordshire and Vale district councils as a COVID compliance marshal where she worked as a COVID compliance marshal, helping business to understand what was required of them under COVID legislation.


While at university Amy completed an Internal Environmental Auditing course with Penarth Management Limited. She also completed the in-house Cardiff Met Award which consisted of completing 100 hours of work experience, 5 personal development sessions, a reflective piece and presentation to further improve her interpersonal skills. This was all completed while studying to complete the BSC Environmental Health course.


Amy has always been passionate about food safety and has previously worked in the food industry.  Prior to university completed she 3 years at college studying professional chefs diploma and later on worked as a chef in a private school for 5 years. During this time working as a chef, Amy completed multiple courses, including level 3 in supervising food safety in catering, level 3 in hospitality supervision and leadership principles and manual handling.  Amy’s inside knowledge in working in a kitchen gives her a very practical insight to food safety and problems food businesses face and can help deliver practical solutions.
